NY Racing Team, with the No. 44 Chevrolet, will be at Pocono Raceway this weekend for NASCAR. They have competed in six races this year and failed to qualify for the Daytona 500. The team utilized J.J. Yeley and Derek Kraus as drivers, with a top finish of 32nd.
This weekend, driver Brennan Poole will join NY Racing Team for his Cup start since 2023. Poole, typically in the Xfinity Series with AlphaPrime Racing, has 42 Cup starts. Members 1st Federal Credit Union will sponsor the effort at Pocono.
Poole’s best Cup finish was ninth in the 2020 Talladega race. He has two previous starts at Pocono with finishes of 29th and 27th. Poole expressed excitement for the opportunity to race with NY Racing Team and looks forward to the doubleheader at Pocono Raceway.
